Yoga found me at a turning point in my life. I was shifting away from a toxic life filled with drugs and partying to a more spiritual and active lifestyle. I had never really felt comfortable in my skin. No matter where I went, I never felt at home. Then one day when I was stretching, my roommate told me to try yoga. It was only after that I was able to find a home within myself. I began studying and practicing yoga four years ago, and shortly after, decided to head to the motherland, India, to receive my 200hr RYT. While in India, I discovered a deep love for bhakti yoga and self study.
My classes are normally breath-focused and include lots of heart and hip openers. My goal in teaching yoga is to share the ancient wisdom embedded in this practice and to guide people to be comfortable in exploring their own bodies. After all, this vessel is the only true home we get in this lifetime. I look forward to practicing with you all!
