My journey with Yoga has been one with many twists and turns. I always had a deep connection with Mother Earth and have held the vision of being part of the bridge needed to close the gap between humans and nature to help bring back harmony and balance. This vision drove me to become an Environmental Engineer. After almost seven years in the industry, marriage, kids, and diagnoses of a number of autoimmune disorders I came to realize that engineering was a stepping stone in my path, but not the path itself.
I had practiced yoga during college and during my first pregnancy. I loved classes that helped me move my body that always hurt and most of all gave me a place to reconnect with Mother Earth, self, and the divine. As my body changed and some mobility became challenging at times it was easier to disconnect from my body then to seek a deeper connection with my physical form. Despite not being active in asana, I have always worked in the subtle body as a place of refuge. Over the years, my quest to be a voice for Mother Earth morphed into learning how to keep my family healthy and find deep physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. Over the past ten years, I have become passionate about clean eating, holistic health, essential oils, herbs, and yoga. My quest to recenter with my body and help it heal through the mind, body, and spirit connection has become essential in carving out the quality of life I hold dear. Now being a mother learning how to find balance in life has become ever more essential. Yoga has been the missing piece and the line that has connected all the dots for me.
As a budding yoga guide, I strive to share the subtle body side of yoga while creating a sacred container for others to find harmony and balance within themselves. My classes focus on new mamas pre and postpartum, as well as, those who may not be the most limber physically, but want to learn to love their body just how they are. I want everyone to know they are enough as they are because we are all one drop in the ocean of oneness.
